When Joel Nadeau decided to move back to the Eastern Townships from Montreal a few years ago, he knew exactly what he was looking for, and it wasn't another mining town. After 10 years in the city, he was yearning for the gently rolling hills and agricultural landscapes of his youth and the community feeling of a small town. But he didn't want to move back to his home town of Asbestos, a one-industry mining town.
